Blogstalking

Blog-stalk v. to secretly read someone's blog with the express purpose of learning more about them without their knowledge.

So maybe my favorite thing about friends' blogs is their friends' blogs.  I currently blogstalk 8 people on a regular basis, and one on rare occasion.  Five of those blogs are actually monetized and looking for followers for profit, so that's not so creepy.

Anyway, the one that I stalk on rare occation happens to be an ex.  Anyone else do this?  I look a few times a year to see what has changed for his family, where they are living, etc.  It's kind of like checking to see if all the big talk he sold me ever came true.

Sometimes I read it just to get the sastisfaction of thinking my life is better.  Then my mom tells me I'll burn in hell.  It's not that my life is better in any measurable way, it's just that I'm happy with how it's different.

Do you know people who blogstalk to gloat or blogstalk to covet?  Are you blogstalking us on our new blog right now?  Don't be shy, share some of your creeper experiences!

What Happened to You Avril?

Avril Lavigne pretty much sucks now. What is up with this song?! The verses and chorus just don't match...at all! The chorus is pretty good, but the rest is ridiculous. And WHY, OH WHY is she wearing a baby tiara?? Ugh!

The Things I Didn't Do Over Memorial Day Weekend = Lame

This is the blog's first post! Yea! We've been wanting to create this blog for a while now, (actually we want it to be a podcast but that's tough considering we all live in different states), so I for one am glad it's finally up! There are multiple authors for this blog and we all just a place to say stuff that our husbands and other people probably don't really care about. So instead of venting to husbands, friends, no one, etc., we blog!

Some of you know as Melissa but here I'll be going by Messa. I live in Washington D.C. and love it, so I'll probably reference it often. And in honor of Memorial Day I'm post a list of things there was to do over the holiday weekend that I did not do...boo. I was not prepared for this weekend at all and I'm sad that I missed so much, but instead I created this blog. Though I'm not at all sad that I missed fighting the crowds. I love living in such a great city, but the problem is that everyone and their dog, literally, comes here on holiday and that sucks for the locals.

Here's to a 4 day week!
